Unique Granite Island Experiences

Join us for three unique Granite Island experiences, being held as part of this year’s Winter Whale Fest. Learn about Kondoli the whale story from Ngarrindjeri guides, Snorkel off Screw Pile Jetty, or learn about the wild-life and fairy penguins on a guided walking tour. Plus some fantastic guided tours you can take at your own pace. There is something for everyone, and all abilities.

Kondoli - The whale journey across Granite Island

Come for a walk with Kool Tours across the waters from Pultang- Victor Harbor to Kaiki-Granite Island with Ngarrindjeri as we explain our connection to Kondoli the whale.

The Kondoli story is very sacred to Ngarrindjeri, It is the creation story of how fire was given to our people and why we must protect it.

It also tells the connection that we as Ngarrindjeri have with the land, waters and cosmology through our whale dreaming stories.

We ask you to come on this journey through time as we the cultural story holders share Ngarrindjeri connections and pay our respects to Kondoli as part of the Victor Harbor Winter Whale Fest 2023.

Suitable for all abilities, wheelchair friendly.
