In partnership with Yankalilla Area School, Oceans of Wonder is a student-led exhibition celebrating the region’s unique marine environment and the annual whale migration along the Fleurieu Coast.

Through guided workshops, students have created original artworks inspired by Kondoli the Whale and other significant ocean beings, including the Leafy Sea Dragon.

The project invites young people to explore and reflect the Ngarrindjeri people’s enduring connection to land, waters and culture.

Professionally displayed throughout June, the exhibition offers an accessible and engaging space for both the local community and visitors, bringing together cultural storytelling, environmental awareness and youth creativity.
